Overview
We are looking for an experienced Skilled Window, Door & Curtain Wall Technician to join our friendly onsite repair team. This role is ideal for a capable, hands-on professional with a strong understanding of window, door and curtain wall systems who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and installation work. You will be trusted to attend sites, assess issues, carry out practical repairs, support technical problem-solving and represent the business professionally with clients and contractors. Responsibilities
- Carry out onsite repair, maintenance and installation works to windows, doors and curtain walling systems.
- Attend site visits and inspections, assess reported issues and identify the most effective repair solutions.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot technical problems and complete works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work confidently with clients, contractors and team members while maintaining a professional approach on site.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and any follow-up actions required.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures, health and safety requirements and quality standards.
- Support less experienced team members where required and contribute to a positive, skilled onsite team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with windows, doors, curtain walling, glazing systems or a similar trade is essential.
- Strong practical skills with the ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective onsite repairs.
- Good knowledge of safe working practices and the ability to follow site procedures and company standards.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to deal professionally with clients, contractors and colleagues.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage work on site, keep accurate records and work independently when required.
- A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- A good level of physical fitness is required, as some projects may involve heavy lifting.
- A clean, tidy and professional presentation is essential.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
