About the Role
We are a modern law firm based in Glasgow, specialising in immigration law. We provide services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK and overseas. The firm is undergoing a period of expansion and are now seeking a further Legal Secretary to join our team.
Working Pattern:
This is an in person role. Hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will will be an integral part of our legal team, providing essential administrative and clerical support. You will work closely with our case owners, ensuring that all legal processes are handled efficiently and professionally.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals, including issuing correspondence to clients.
- Maintaining client files on the case management system.
- Scanning supporting documents & uploading to Home Office portals for submission.
- Preparing bundles for submission at the Immigration & Asylum Tribunal.
- Handle client communications, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing client enquiries with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform general office duties as required.
Essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is essential.
- Excellent organisational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role
