Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service across dine-in and online orders.
- Organise staff rotas and determine staffing requirements according to customer demand, bookings and busy service periods.
- Monitor stock levels of food, beverages and restaurant supplies, liaising with suppliers to maintain adequate inventory and control costs.
- Oversee the quality and presentation of Indian dishes, ensuring restaurant standards are consistently maintained.
- Monitor food hygiene, health and safety, allergen controls and workplace procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints and service issues professionally and take appropriate action to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports on restaurant sales, staffing, stock levels, food costs, wastage and overall operational performance for senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with supervising responsibilities.
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation and culinary operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Experience in supervising food service staff such as servers, cooks, baristas or bartenders.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and inventory control systems.
