A well-established Engineering company based in Bridgend South Wales supplying Service and equipment to the recycling industry is currently looking for a skilled Turner/General machinist, to enhance our team.

Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor manual lathes and milling machines to produce precise components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate machining
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts for dimensional accuracy using basic math skills and measurement tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks or CAD software for design modifications or troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating lathes and milling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments for quality control.
- Basic math skills including measurements, fractions, and conversions necessary for precise machining.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
