- When Required (Holiday & Sickness cover, events etc)
- Monday & Saturday 10:00 to 18:00
- Sunday 11:00 to 17:00
- Additional hours may be available

Job Description:
RNC Security Ltd is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Relief Retail Security Officer to join our team in the heart of Leeds City Centre. The role is critical in ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for both customers and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, managing access control, and responding to security-related incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the core team with holiday, sickness and event cover
- Maintain a visible presence within the retail environment to deter theft and manage disturbances.
- Conduct regular patrols and security checks within the premises.
- Manage access control points and assist with customer inquiries.
- Respond to and manage any security incidents that occur on site.
- Liaise with store management and local law enforcement as required.
- Provide detailed reports of incidents and daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license.
- Read and write fluently in English.
- Minimum 1 years experience in a retail security role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional demeanour and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
