The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support our Ipswich office with its commercial needs.
We are looking for someone with experience in pricing and commercial operations who can start making an impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the branch with day-to-day pricing and network enquiries, ensuring requests are dealt with accurately and promptly.
- Obtain, maintain and update freight rates from carriers, suppliers and overseas network partners, ensuring pricing information remains accurate and competitive.
- Prepare and issue freight quotations in line with agreed pricing structures, commercial guidelines and customer requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers and overseas agents to obtain rates, transit times, routing options and service information.
- Maintain accurate internal pricing, network and supplier records, ensuring information is regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
- Assist with analysing rates, routes, services and market information to identify opportunities for improved pricing and network solutions.
- Produce pricing and commercial reports and provide general support to the Commercial team, including ad-hoc projects and requests from senior management.

What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in pricing is desirable
