The Role-
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Assistant Site Manager with Site Supervisory skills to assist the Site Manager with construction projects from the ground up . This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who can both supervise and work alongside the team while ensuring projects are delivered to high standards, safely and efficiently.
You’ll interpret complex technical drawings, liaise with clients, work closely with our Site and Contracts Managers along with Office Management, and ensure daily operations run smoothly. The role involves working locally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction works across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and health & safety regulations
- Read and interpret construction drawings accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with the Site/Contracts Manager as well as Office Management to ensure project delivery
- Participate in on-site works and lead by example
Experience we're looking for ..
- Valid CSCS Card
- At least 3 years’ construction experience
- Proven ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Full UK clean driving licence
- Willingness to travel locally
· NVQ in Construction Site Supervision / Occupational Work Supervision or at least SSSTS trained with NVQ3 and CSCS Gold card.
- Strong team player but also able to work as an individual
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
- Able to work in a busy environment under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face)
- Possess a “can do” attitude and provide to support to other members of the team as required
- Clean Driving Licence
- A Clear Enhanced DBS Check will be required
- Local
- Computer Literate
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Monday to Friday. Pension.
Start Date and Salary to be agreed, dependent on experience and qualifications, expected to be between 30000 and 40000.
