Carter Group are recruiting a Projects & Installation Administrator to work within in our Basildon office. This role will be working within the Fire and Security Projects/Installation team providing crucial administrative support services in a fast pace environment.
We are open to all levels of administration experience which also includes those starting their career in business admin and looking to complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
The role will involve;
- General day to day administration supporting the Installation/Projects team.
- Dealing with customers enquiries over the telephone and via email correspondence.
- Day to day communication with engineers and subcontractors.
- Data input within our software system including; raising new sales enquires, quotation numbers, purchase order numbers and updating actions.
- Supporting installation team with diary management and scheduling of the Installation Engineers using Outlook.
- Organising pre-installation packs, preparing as fitted documentation and compiling certificates and O&M manuals for customer handover.
- Organising travel arrangements and accommodation.
- Liaising with suppliers for equipment orders following company purchasing processes.
- Monitoring engineer timesheets and jobsheet completion paperwork.
Reporting to the Installation Manager, the role may also include other office duties as deemed acceptable by your line manager. As a growing company with an excellent motivated team we are always looking at opportunity for development of roles and responsibilities.
Internal training provided on systems used and company procedures.
· Contract: Permanent
· Hours: Full-time office based, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
· Probation Period: 3 months
· Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays (3 days to be taken between Christmas and New Year shutdown subject to change)
· Pension: Statutory
· Salary: based on experience

Pay: £18,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
