At First Class Football & First Class Sport, we are passionate about inspiring children to be active, confident, and engaged through high-quality sports coaching. We deliver exciting Soccer Schools and Multi-Sports Camps that provide children with memorable experiences, opportunities to develop new skills, and a lifelong love of sport.
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable Sports Coaches to join our team this summer and help create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for children aged 5–15.
The Role
As a Summer Sports Coach, you will lead and support a variety of football and/or multi-sport activities during our holiday camps. You'll play a key role in ensuring every child has an enjoyable, rewarding experience while developing their sporting skills, confidence, teamwork, and social development.
Whether delivering football coaching sessions, organising multi-sport competitions, or leading fun games and activities, you'll bring energy, creativity, and positivity to every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate football coaching sessions and/or multi-sport activities.
- Create a fun, inclusive, and safe environment where every child feels welcomed and supported.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs, abilities, and interests of different participants.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and participation.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Act as a positive role model for all participants.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in coaching football, sports, or physical activity sessions with children.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and energetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage children of varying ages and abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare responsibilities.
- Relevant coaching qualifications (FA Coaching Qualification, Multi-Sports Coaching, Sports Coaching Degree, etc.).
- Specific paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
