About the role
This role will support the ongoing development, support, improvement and adoption of business systems across the organisation through business analysis, user support, process improvement, reporting and low-code solution development.
The role acts as a bridge between operational teams and IT, helping to support users, troubleshoot business system issues, identify business requirements, improve operational processes and develop technology solutions that enhance efficiency, visibility and business performance.
The role will support the ongoing administration, enhancement and day-to-day operation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint and related business applications, while also contributing towards the organisation’s wider digital transformation initiatives.
This role will be an office-based role during probation period, after this we offer 1 day working from home.
Role responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from operational and support departments
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions to support business operations
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows and process automations
- Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
- Support the ongoing enhancement and optimisation of business systems and applications.
- Assist with troubleshooting business system issues and support root cause analysis activities
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and release activities
- Produce and maintain process documentation, user guides and training materials
- Support user adoption and engagement across business systems and digital tools
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external software partners
- Assist with backlog management and prioritisation of enhancement requests
- Support data validation, reporting accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with integrations between Microsoft systems and business applications where required
About you
Essential
- Experience using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Good understanding of business processes and operational workflows
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and technologies
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
Desirable
- Relevant qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Business Systems, IT, Computing, Data Analytics or similar discipline
- Microsoft certifications relating to Power Platform, Power BI or Microsoft 365 technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems
- Experience with SharePoint and Dataverse
- Understanding of data structures or integrations
- Experience supporting digital transformation or process improvement initiatives
- Experience within construction, engineering or operational service environments
- Full UK Drivers Licence
