About the role
As a Residential Children’s Practitioner, you will provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people in a therapeutic residential setting. You will help create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment while supporting emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
- Support emotional wellbeing, daily routines, and independence
- Follow care plans and record key information accurately
- Work closely with colleagues and partner professionals
- Promote safeguarding, safety, and positive behaviour support
What we’re looking for
- A caring, resilient, and child-focused approach
- Ability to build professional relationships and work as part of a team
- Good communication, observation, and record-keeping skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and trauma-informed practice
- A full UK driving licence
- Applicants must be aged 21 or over

As a supportive organisation, we pay additional enhanced rates for any overtime above contractual hours, as we recognise to support our children, we must support our employees.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Between £27,750 and £36,739* a year (£57.20 per sleep included).
*salary dependant on qualifications and undertaking minimum sleep’s per month.
