Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to residents in care homes or individuals receiving home care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort, and supporting their wellbeing in accordance with care plans. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in IT, and have a valid driving licence for home visits when necessary. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, respecting their dignity and privacy
- Support individuals with daily activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Follow individualised care plans to deliver tailored support that meets each resident’s needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure documentation complies with organisational standards
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the wider care team to ensure consistent and high-quality care delivery
- Drive residents or clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times
- Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to senior staff promptly
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the care environment
Pay: From £12.75 per hour
