Cranstons production unit is busy yet rewarding as we provide food to our 6 retail outlets and wholesale customers.
We pride ourselves in the quality of our local, handmade produce that feeds people throughout Cumbria. We make everything on site including freshly baked cakes, sausage rolls, deluxe salads and tasty pies.
We are excited to be hiring across the departments within our Production Unit.
About the Role:
- We have a Full Time opening, with a 40 hour week, worked across Monday - Friday
- These jobs have minimal weekend work included, giving you a set working pattern to allow you weekends off
- The departments are always evolving and have recently supported a range of new and exciting products.
What You'll Do:
- Follow our signature recipes to bulk create a variety of our favourite products
- Work in a busy, hands on production environment, a lot of our work is done by hand, providing a unique opportunity to see a product through from start to finish
- Follow our Food Hygiene policies, keeping our customers safe
- Operate a variety of Food Production Machinery
- Packing and Labelling products correctly ready for sale
- Working as a team to complete all orders in a timely manner
What You'll Need
- Ideally we are looking for individuals with Catering or Food Experience, however we are able to provide training so passion will go a long way
- Ability to work hard, both within a team and an independently
- Good understanding of spoken and written English
- Enthusiasm to learn and a hardworking attitude.
