Head Chef – Anxious Pete's x Dockyard Social
Location: Dockyard Social, 95-107 Haugh Road, Glasgow (West End)
Hours: Full Time – Wednesday to Sunday

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Head Chef to lead our brand-new Anxious Pete's unit at Dockyard Social.
Dockyard Social is one of Glasgow's best-known street food destinations, located in the city's West End, just minutes from Finnieston, the SEC and OVO Hydro. Set inside a large warehouse-style venue, it brings together some of Scotland's best independent food traders alongside bars, live entertainment and thousands of customers every weekend. It's a fast-paced, high-volume environment where quality and consistency are everything.
About the role
This isn't a kitchen where you'll be hidden away. You'll be running your own operation, taking ownership of every aspect of the business while delivering the quality and standards Anxious Pete's has become known for.
You'll be responsible for:
- Running the kitchen independently during service
- Producing consistently excellent pizzas in a busy service environment
- Managing dough production, fermentation and quality control
- Ordering stock and maintaining food cost targets
- Ensuring excellent food safety and cleanliness standards
- Training and developing future team members
- Maintaining prep schedules and service organisation
- Representing the Anxious Pete's brand with pride
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
- Has strong pizza experience (essential)
- Has a solid understanding of dough, fermentation and bread science
- Can stay calm and organised during high-volume services
- Works well independently and takes ownership
- Has excellent leadership and communication skills
- Holds high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Is reliable, hardworking and genuinely passionate about great food
