An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed therapeutic children's home supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

The service is built around trauma-informed, therapeutic care, with PACE and DDP principles embedded throughout practice. The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the leadership and management of the home, ensuring outstanding care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the children's home
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations
- Creating and embedding a therapeutic, trauma-informed culture
- Supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs
- Recruiting, developing and retaining a high-performing staff team
- Delivering effective supervision, coaching and performance management
- Building positive relationships with families, local authorities and external professionals
- Driving continuous improvement and achieving positive outcomes for children
- Preparing the service for future growth and potential dual registration
About You
To be successful, applicants will have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Children's Home Manager within an Ofsted-regulated setting
- At least 3 years' residential childcare experience
- A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, childcare legislation and quality standards
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
- A child-focused, therapeutic and outcome-driven approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
