Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Local Guide and Support to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a good understanding of the Oswestry and are eager to assist others in navigating their surroundings. As a Local support, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the experience of Chinese visitors, providing them with valuable insights and support.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive guidance to visitors, helping them explore local attractions, restaurants, and cultural sites.
- Assist individuals with inquiries regarding public transport and community resources.
- Offer support in navigating local services and amenities and recreational activities.
- Foster positive relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing their needs promptly.
Skills
- Chinese speaking - proficient at least
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of the local area, including culture, and attractions.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-solving abilities to assist clients in overcoming challenges during their visits.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour that encourages interaction and builds rapport.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential.
