Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated, resilient and child‑focused Support Workers to join our residential team. You will play a key role in supporting children with emotional, behavioural or social needs, helping them build stability, confidence and positive futures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and protect children at all times
- Provide daily living support including routines, meals, hygiene and activities
- Offer consistent emotional support and build trusting relationships
- Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and behaviour management strategies
- Complete accurate daily logs, incident reports and handovers
- Support education, appointments and community engagement
- Maintain a safe, clean and nurturing home environment
- Work collaboratively within a professional care team
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
- Mandatory training: Safeguarding, First Aid, Medication, Behaviour Management
- Enhanced DBS
- Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and sleep‑ins
