Job Summary
MedicsProCare is seeking a confident, well-presented and commercially minded Community Partnerships & Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Supported Living and Community Care services across South London.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building relationships within the health and social care sector, promoting MedicsProCare’s services, identifying new referral opportunities, and converting enquiries into service users through professional relationship management and excellent communication.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in health and social care who also possesses strong business development, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Promote MedicsProCare services to local authorities, healthcare professionals, community organisations and referral partners.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the health and social care sector.
Build long-term relationships with commissioners, discharge teams, social workers, care coordinators, charities and other referral sources.
Attend networking events, community meetings and partnership forums.
Field Marketing & Community Outreach
Represent MedicsProCare professionally within the community.
Conduct regular outreach visits to hospitals, GP practices, community mental health teams, supported living providers and local organisations.
Distribute marketing materials and promote MedicsProCare services.
Increase brand awareness within target communities.
Sales & Relationship Management
Respond to enquiries from prospective service users, families and professionals.
Conduct initial discussions regarding MedicsProCare services.
Negotiate placements and support packages where appropriate.
Follow up leads and maintain an active referral pipeline.
Convert enquiries into successful placements.
Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain excellent relationships with existing referral partners.
Act as an ambassador for MedicsProCare.
Provide regular feedback on market trends and opportunities.
Support the Director with strategic business development initiatives.
Administration
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and business development opportunities.
Update CRM systems and enquiry logs.
Produce weekly activity reports.
Support the preparation of presentations and promotional materials.
Person Specification
Essential
Previous experience within Health & Social Care.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident speaking with professionals at all levels.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Experience building relationships with external stakeholders.
Commercial awareness with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently.
Full UK Driving Licence (desirable but advantageous).
Desirable
Experience in Supported Living, Mental Health or Domiciliary Care.
Business Development or Sales experience.
Knowledge of Local Authority commissioning.
Understanding of CQC-regulated services.
Experience using CRM systems.
