L&D Co-ordinator (with HR experience)

About the Role
Are you an L&D professional with a strong background in generalist HR administration and employee relations?
We have partnered with a market-leading global food manufacturing business at their key site in Maidstone to recruit a dynamic L&D Co-ordinator (with HR experience). Reporting directly to the Site People Manager, this hybrid-scope role delivers the site's learning and development strategy while providing crucial generalist HR operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and evaluate site-wide training solutions aligned with overall business goals and operational objectives.
- Work alongside the Finance team to identify and access funding for training, including apprenticeship levy interventions.
- Manage key platforms including the talent management system and Alchemy eLearning to track metrics, KPIs, and site compliance.
- Support line managers by taking notes during formal HR meetings (disciplinaries, investigations, absence reviews, performance management, and appeals).
- Analyse ER and KPI metrics to highlight trends. Update HR systems and coordinate with payroll on joiners, leavers, and pay adjustments.
- Support line managers with new starter documentation, equipment setup, induction delivery, and probation reviews.
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an L&D role combined with practical HR exposure, ideally gained within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and manufacturing site operations.
- Familiarity with eLearning platforms (e.g., Alchemy), Talent platforms, and apprenticeship levy funding.
- Excellent note-taking skills for formal ER procedures and solid interpersonal/influencing abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities under pressure.
