Full Time Senior Property Manager
Whitegates Estate Agents Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth & Mirfield are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to Head our busy property management team,
The position is only coming available due to retirement of industry expert Craig Warren.
Tasks are varied but include the following:-.
- Handling incoming repair requests from tenants and triaging maintenance issues
- Liaising with landlords and contractors to arrange repairs and obtain approvals
- Handling tenant communications
- Financial Administration in ensuring seeking funds from landlords to cover repair costs
- Booking contractors and coordinating access to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Outstanding works order review
- Review of staff performance
- Help train up new staff and share guides
- Help to ensure Legal Compliance, health and safety regulations
- Resolve disputes or complaints
- Supporting the wider lettings team with leadership
We are the largest residential letting agent in Huddersfield and the largest Whitegates office nationally, managing over 1900 properties from our Huddersfield office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working in a busy environment and has an interest in property or maintenance, previous experience is essential in property management and/or managing teams.
No two days are the same, and the role requires someone who can stay organised, prioritise workload and communicate clearly with tenants, landlords and contractors.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience within the industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisation and ability to manage a busy workload
- Confident handling high volumes of phone calls and emails
- Knowledge of property maintenance or property management
- Experience of managing a team
Positive attitude & somoneon with real character required. Drama queens, moaners and fuss pots need not apply.
Working hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Saturday 9am to 1pm on a 1 in 4/5 rota basis
Salary will be dependent on experience.

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
