Whitley Hall Hotel is now actively looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter to join the team. The ideal person will have experience as a Kitchen Porter (but this is not essential) and be looking to move to a recognised high quality hotel in Sheffield. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Must have reliable transport to and from the hotel.
Duties Will Include:
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the kitchen
- Ensuring that the cleaning of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery is completed in a timely manner
- Ensuring that all waste and refuse is collected and transported to the waste collection area
- Ensuring that any deliveries are checked before being accepted and all health & safety requirements adhered to
- Ensuring that a full closedown of the kitchen is completed to a high standard every evening
- Ensuring that all current Health & Safety and COSHH procedures are adhered to at all times
- Projecting a smart and professional image at all times by adhering to the rules regarding grooming, wearing of uniform and maintaining high levels of personal hygiene.
