Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, ensuring a friendly and engaging experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual methods
- Serve drinks and food promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and front-of-house spaces throughout your shift
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with setup, clearing tables, or restocking supplies
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to serving alcohol and food
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality environments
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent serving skills combined with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with hospitality software or POS systems is a plus but not required

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
