FLT & Production Operative – Settle
Location: Settle, North Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:15pm
Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent

Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for a new opportunity in Settle?
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking FLT & Production Operative to join a well-established local business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be splitting your time between FLT driving and supporting the production team.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied working day and is looking for a role that could lead to something permanent.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Operating an FLT safely around the site
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
- Supporting the production process
- Moving raw materials and finished products
- Keeping production areas running efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks
- Following health & safety procedures
- General housekeeping and keeping the workplace tidy
- Working as part of a friendly and hardworking team
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident and experienced operating an FLT
- Reliable and punctual
- Happy working in a busy environment
- Practical and willing to get stuck in
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Able to read and write
- Comfortable using basic computer systems
- Previous production or manufacturing experience would be an advantage
A full UK driving licence and your own transport is essential due to the early 6:00am start and limited public transport options.
