Part-Time Dental Receptionist
Location: Cardiff
Hours: Part-time, 2–3 days per week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

- Developing a good knowledge of the treatments and services provided by the practice.
- Promoting appropriate private treatments and services to patients.
- Introducing patients to the practice's membership plan and explaining the benefits.
- Supporting the practice in monitoring NHS dental contract targets.
- Effective diary management and zoning of appointments to ensure the practice meets its NHS contractual targets.
- Working closely with dentists, nurses and the wider practice team.
- Maintaining a high standard of patient service at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and professional.
- Confident communicating with patients face-to-face and on the telephone.
- An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Confident using computers and able to learn new software systems.

- Confident discussing services and explaining options to patients.
- Reliable, flexible and willing to learn.
- Customer-focused and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.
- Previous experience in a busy reception, healthcare, customer service or administrative role would be beneficial.
If you are organised, friendly, confident and enjoy working with people, and would like to join a busy practice, we would love to hear from you.
