An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Greater Gwent (Torfaen) Pension Fund for a highly motivated individual to join the Pensions Team in the role of Pension Benefits Team Leader

The role
As Pension Benefits Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the activities of the Benefits Team. Checking and verifying their work and resolving complex queries. Also, the calculation of sensitive and complex benefits calculations and be part of a great team within Pensions
Qualifications and Experience

Relevant professional qualification, such as CIPP or equivalent
- Good knowledge of the LGPS Regulations and associated Regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of organising and managing priorities to tight deadlines
- Ability to identify and manage change.
This role will involve agile working. This will allow you to work between home and office work location, giving you greater flexibility about where and when you work and to allow for ongoing support, development and collaboration with colleagues.
