We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Relief Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team based in Bamber Bridge, Preston.
Role Overview
As a Relief Gatehouse Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our client's premises. You will control access to the site, monitor CCTV systems, and ensure all visitors, contractors, and staff are managed in accordance with site procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Control access to and from the site.
- Welcome and process visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Record all personnel and vehicle movements accurately.
- Direct visitors and contractors to the appropriate areas.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and professional working environment.
- Prevent unauthorised access and respond appropriately to incidents.
- Monitor CCTV systems in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct searches when required and in line with company policy.
- Support emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Complete all site documentation and reports accurately.
Essential Requirements
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence (applications without a valid licence will not be considered).
- A full 5-year checkable employment and/or education history.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
- Good computer literacy.
- A good standard of spoken and written English.
