Part-Time Dental Practice Cleaning Operative
Hours: 10 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Pay: £13.45 per hour

Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Cleaning Operative to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within a professional dental practice.
Working during the evening after the practice has closed, you will be responsible for ensuring treatment rooms, reception areas, staff facilities and other communal areas are left clean, hygienic and ready for the following working day.
Due to the nature of the environment, attention to detail, reliability and a strong understanding of hygiene standards are particularly important.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas throughout the dental practice, including treatment rooms, reception and waiting areas, toilets, corridors and staff areas
- Clean floors, surfaces, fixtures and other touchpoints to a consistently high standard
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures
- Restock essential supplies including soap, paper towels and toilet roll
- Follow the practice's cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Help maintain the high standards of cleanliness expected within a healthcare environment
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, damage or potential health and safety hazards
- Work independently and ensure all allocated cleaning duties are completed within the scheduled hours
About You
Previous commercial cleaning experience would be beneficial, particularly within a dental, medical or healthcare setting, although this is not essential as training will be provided.
