Service & Parts Administrator | Swindon Area

Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service & Parts Administrator to join a well-established commercial vehicle business in the Swindon area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous automotive service and parts experience who is looking to join a stable business offering training, development and long-term career opportunities.
The Role
You will play an important role within the Service Reception team, supporting both customers and the workshop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and assisting customers in person and over the phone
- Booking vehicles into the workshop and creating job cards
- Obtaining order numbers and work authorisations
- Providing customers with regular progress updates
- Planning scheduled servicing, Tacho and MOT bookings
- Processing and checking retail invoices
- Ensuring parts and labour are correctly recorded for invoicing
- Receiving, checking and allocating parts and consumables
- Dealing with customer queries via email and telephone
- General service and parts administration
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous automotive service and/or parts experience
- Experience within a car or commercial vehicle dealership
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- Good attention to detail
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- The ability to work in a busy environment
- A genuine interest in developing a career within the automotive industry
Automotive service and parts experience is essential. Full training will be provided on the company's systems and processes.
