Handyman / Multi-Trader Required
Location: Wigan (mainly Wigan Borough, occasional Northwest work)
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Multi-Trader to join our team working across mainly Wigan Borough, with occasional work across the Northwest.
The role will involve a variety of snagging, maintenance, and finishing work, primarily within domestic properties, so a good attitude and customer-friendly approach is essential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 30-minute lunch break (around 12:00pm)
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Must be able to:
- Travel to our yard daily
- Drive company vehicles (when permitted)
- Travel to jobs across Wigan and surrounding areas
Skills Required
We are looking for someone experienced in as many of the following as possible:
- Joinery (basic to intermediate)
- Patch plastering & making good
- Boxing in pipework / services
- Stud wall work
- General handyman / multi-trade work
- Snagging and finishing to a high standard
Experience
- Previous construction / handyman experience is highly preferred
- Experience working in domestic properties is essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to complete clean, tidy, professional work
Qualifications (Preferred)
- NVQ in Joinery / Construction (or similar)
- Health & Safety training
