Pembrook Resourcing is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected automotive retailer for an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead a successful franchised dealership in Eastbourne.
This is a key leadership appointment, and we're looking for someone who has already demonstrated success as an Aftersales Manager within a UK franchised main dealership. You'll be joining a busy, high-performing operation where customer satisfaction, operational excellence and team development are at the heart of everything they do.

The Opportunity
As Aftersales Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the performance of the Service and Parts Departments, leading from the front while ensuring the business continues to deliver exceptional results across every aspect of the aftersales operation.
Working closely with senior management and manufacturer partners, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the department, maximise workshop performance, improve profitability and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a successful Service and Parts team.
- Drive workshop efficiency, productivity and departmental profitability.
- Monitor and control WIP, warranty processes and departmental costs.
- Deliver and exceed departmental KPIs and financial objectives.
- Maintain outstanding levels of customer satisfaction (CSI) and customer retention.
- Ensure manufacturer standards, compliance and operational processes are consistently achieved.
- Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and manufacturer representatives.
- Coach and develop your management team, creating a positive, high-performance culture.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the entire aftersales operation.
- Ensure the department consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll already have experience leading an automotive aftersales department within a franchised dealership environment.
You'll also be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within a UK main dealer.
- A strong track record of delivering profitable aftersales performance.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers, Technicians and Parts teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive both performance and profitability.
- A solid understanding of workshop efficiency, productivity, warranty administration, WIP control and departmental KPIs.
- Experience working closely with manufacturer standards and retailer compliance.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for delivering first-class customer service and developing successful teams.
