Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 16.5 hours per week
Working Hours:
- Wednesday: 8:45am – 6:30pm
- Thursday: 8:45am – 5:30pm

Requirements:
- Qualification: National Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent (required)
- Compliance: Valid DBS check and proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required)
- Personal Qualities: Friendly and enthusiastic, conscientious and highly organised, punctual and meticulous – especially in areas of hygiene and health & safety

Your role will be to assist the dentist with the day to day running of a surgery by :-
- Setting up the surgery.
- Performing the end of day procedure.
- Welcoming patient into the surgery and provide with safety protection. Assist dentist with charting and clinical procedures including implants.
- Process any lab work and x-rays.
- Liaise with reception to ensure continuity.
- Cleaning and sterilizing of all used equipment and instruments, spray and wipe down all surfaces between each patient. Setting up instrument trays and putting sterilized instruments away.
- Segregate and dispose of surgery waste e.g. hazardous, clinical, recycling and household.
- Be aware and follow practice protocols whilst carrying out all duties.
- Ensure CPD requirements are met and recorded.
- Reception duties as and when required.
