About this opportunity
We are looking for enthusiastic internal applicants to join our team as a Ferry Host on a casual, zero-hour basis. This is a flexible arrangement suited to those looking for extra work based around other commitments with shifts offered on an as-needed basis according to operational demands. There is no obligation to accept every shift offered.
What you will be doing
- Welcoming and assisting passengers boarding and disembarking.
- Using contactless payment systems to manage payments.
- Providing local tourist information, directions, responding to passenger queries and resolving minor issues.
- Ensuring passenger safety and compliance with onboard procedures.
- You will be part of a small team keeping the Ferry tidy and demonstrating safe working practices. All staff will receive training.
