Cattle Market
The Cattle Market is a characterful, traditional community pub in the heart of Leek, a busy Staffordshire market town known for its independent shops, local markets, walking routes and steady visitor trade.
With a classic two-room layout and one central bar serving both spaces, the pub has a warm, familiar feel and gives the right partner a great base to build a proper locals’ pub with personality. Its location close to the town centre, local market activity and a Premier Inn just five minutes away means there is a strong mix of regulars, day visitors and tourists to tap into.
Trading at around £3,595 per week and currently 100% wet-led, The Cattle Market is a straightforward Your Local agreement with plenty of opportunity for someone who knows how to bring people together and keep trade moving throughout the week.
There is real room to grow here through a strong events calendar, live sport, quiz nights, community groups, local partnerships and consistent reasons for people to call in. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on operator who will be visible in the pub, get to know the locals and make the most of a well-located Leek pub with genuine potential.
