About the Role
As a Team Member, you'll play a key role in creating the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Forest & Field is known for. From preparing fresh food and crafting quality coffee to delivering outstanding customer service, you'll help ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience.
You'll be part of a supportive team that values kindness, teamwork, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food and beverages to our high standards
- Deliver warm, friendly, and attentive customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the café, kitchen, and customer areas
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience
- Promote menu items, daily specials, and seasonal offerings where appropriate
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Assist with food preparation and general café operations as required
- Help create a welcoming environment that reflects the values of Forest & Field
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A passion for people, food, coffee, and hospitality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across our opening hours
