Little Plums Nursery is an expanding childcare provider dedicated to creating outstanding environments where children thrive. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Office Administrator to join our brand-new Forest Fields Nursery and provide administrative support across our nursery group.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of our team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business while working closely with our Nursery Directors.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Office Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our nurseries operate smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing funding claims and maintaining accurate records
- Scanning, filing, and sending important documentation
- Processing invoices and updating payments
- Drafting professional emails, letters, and communications
- Answering telephone and email enquiries with a friendly, professional approach
- Booking appointments and managing diaries
- Providing executive and PA support to the Nursery Directors
- Producing reports and maintaining business data
- Completing daily and weekly compliance checks
- Managing and updating social media content
- Liaising with parents, suppliers, and external agencies
- Taking payments and maintaining financial records
- Ordering office and nursery supplies
- Supporting the onboarding of new employees
- Assisting with general administrative duties across the nursery group
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in an office administration or business support role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A confident communicator with outstanding verbal and written English
- Professional, friendly, and confident when speaking on the telephone
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Trustworthy, discreet, and able to handle confidential information
Essential Skills
- Previous office administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly:
- Outlook
- Word
- Excel
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to produce accurate reports and maintain records

Working Hours
- 35–40 hours per week
