InHouse Records. The record label for change is expanding our team and looking for experienced music practitioners to deliver music workshops inside prisons.
With this role you will be working Monday to Thursday running sessions from: 8:45-11:30 and 2-4:30 every week. If you can only do part time please get in contact as you will still be of great use to us!
To note, you are way more likely to progress if you have full DBS!
This is a unique opportunity to use your musical skills to make a real impact by helping individuals develop creativity, confidence and positive pathways through music. We’re looking for people with experience in:
- Music production (Logic)
- Songwriting and recording
- Instrumentation (e.g. piano/keys, guitar, drums, etc.)
- Beat making and studio workflow
- Facilitating or mentoring in creative environments (desirable)
What the role involves:
- Delivering structured music workshops within prison settings
- Supporting participants in writing, recording and producing music
- Encouraging creative expression and skill development
- Helping contribute to a positive and constructive learning environment Important:
Due to the prison environment, all successful applicants must complete a security vetting process before starting. This typically takes 4 weeks so if you have already been vetted within the HMP Justice system we will be able to fast track this process!
