Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of senior kitchen staff
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
- Help with cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food presentation for service
- Serve meals to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain stock levels by organising ingredients and supplies
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
