Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly Part-Time Shuttle Driver to join our team at Green Gables Nursing Home. Your role will be to transport our dedicated care staff safely between central Bordon, our care home in Grayshott, and Haslemere Train Station during shift handovers.
You will be driving our modern, comfortable 9-seater passenger vehicle. No heavy commercial driving licences (like D1 or PCV) are required!
Duties
- Provide a safe, punctual, and welcoming transport service for our staff.
- Run a fixed morning and evening loop between Bordon, Grayshott, and Haslemere.
- Conduct basic daily vehicle safety checks (fuel levels, tyres, lights).
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and tidy.
Experience
- Licence: Full, clean UK Driving Licence (Category B - manual or automatic) held for a minimum of 2 years (Required).
- Location: Must live in or very close to Bordon, Hampshire (Required).
- Availability: Must be fully comfortable working the split-shift schedule (6:30 AM – 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM).
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, which we will fully fund and arrange (Required).
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
