Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home

Salary: £50,676 per annum

Committed Support is assisting one of our valued clients in recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the children's residential home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
- Provide effective leadership, supervision, and support to the staff team.
- Foster a positive, person-centred culture focused on improving outcomes for young people.
- Monitor the quality of care, implement improvements, and maintain excellent standards.
- Work closely with families, local authorities, education providers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Manage staffing, performance, and resources effectively.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous management experience within a children's residential setting.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or an equivalent qualification).
- A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations and children's residential legislation.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and developing high-performing teams.
