Role Overview: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in manufacturing polymer products to meet customer requirements. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture aerospace components using moulding and associated production processes
Follow production job cards, drawings and work instructions to ensure products are manufactured to specification
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with documented procedures
Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of components throughout the manufacturing process
Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered during production.
Work closely with other production team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.
Collaborate with the quality control and engineering teams to resolve any production-related issues.
Essential Skills
Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment preferably (essential training will be given).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
High level of attention to detail to ensure products meet quality specifications.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of polymer materials and their processing techniques is an advantage.
