Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Driller or Trainee Assistant Driller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operating of drilling equipment to support construction, water abstraction, or geotechnical projects.
Reporting to the Lead Driller your duties will involve loading and unloading materials and equipment needed for onsite, along with setting up and assisting with the operating of the drilling rig. You will be required to follow instructions from the Lead Driller, following Health and Safety procedures at all times.
Applicants will enjoy working outside in a hands on role, as this is a physically demanding job working outside in all weathers.
Applicants need to be flexible with the working hours as this job often involves early morning starts. Working hours are 47.5 hours per week plus overtime, Monday to Friday.
This is a site based role predominantly working in East Anglia, whereby you will report daily to our yard and travel to site. You will at times be expected to work away from home as overnight stays are required when working further away. Accommodation will be provided for.

Full PPE will be provided.
Essential:
Full clean UK driving licence.
You must be able to daily commute to our yard based at NR21 7AW.
You must be able to understand and adhere to Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Recommended:
CSCS card (not essential)
Previous experience of commercial driving including towing.
