MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

This presents an excellent opportunity as a maintenance operative. We are a client-centric brand looking to improve on our delivery of service and quality of product we deliver.
The successful candidate will be working on reactive and planned maintenance basis carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance across both domestic and commercial properties in the group’s portfolio. This is a demanding role.
Some experience in joinery, roofing, plastering, plumbing and tiling would be advantageous.
The candidate will need to be driven, committed and well organised to deal with their work in a timely manner and utilise Fix Flo repair software, ensuring everything is logged, responded to and updated. They must be IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office packages. Experience and proven track record is essential.
The role include (not exhaustive list):
· Emergency out of hours reactive response
· Interacting and dealing with clients
· Using software and email to report and receive jobs
· Must hold a full UK drivers licence
· Identify and diagnose issues that require repairs
· Instructing outside contractors where necessary and ensure they deliver on the task at hand
· Good time management and multi task
· Decoration, plumbing, joinery
· Undertake regular patrols around our buildings to identify any repairs any health and safety issues
· Working as part of a team to deliver a quality product
· Must be hardworking, reliable and excellent knowledge of general maintenance work
· Good communicator with inter-personal skills and act in a professional manner.
· Inventory taking of materials and audit of consumables and materials
· Key retention for the portfolio
· Maintain confidentiality
· Some weekend work may be required
· Smartly dressed and presentable
· Ensure all buildings are secure including removing/fitting locks and adjusting doors and windows
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
