More recently Cordis acquired MedAlliance, and their innovative Selution SLR™ drug-eluting balloon technology which offers exciting potential and new opportunities in the cardiovascular and endovascular space.
We are currently looking for 2 x Account Manager / Territory Sales Manager, one for the North UK (M62 based-London) and one South (Greater London based-Manchester) reporting to the Regional Business Manager. The Account Manager is fully responsible for the territory described, with a specific focus on our endovascular portfolio, specifically in angioplasty balloons, stents and vascular closure ensuring an on-target performance within the projected budget for the territory.
We are looking for a highly talented individual with a passion for sales, fostering customer relationships and identifying innovative ways to add value for the clinical and non-clinical customers. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships within interventional radiology and vascular within defined focus accounts

Meet and exceed sales account targets, aligned with company objectives

Develop a territory plan to prioritize activity and focus on meeting commercial targets

Foster positive long-term relationships with clients and key opinion leaders by dedicating at least 70% of time customer facing in the catheter labs

Act as the point of contact and handle customer individual needs relating to Cordis endovascular products

Work closely with Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Marketing and Educational teams to generate new business using existing and potential customer networks

Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner

Report on the status of accounts and transactions via regular communication during monthly business reviews

Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

Play an active role within the team by providing market and competitor intelligence, feedback on local trends and working towards agreed objectives with the Regional Sales Manager

Attendance at both internal and external meetings, workshops and exhibitions as required, which may include some out of hours working from time to time

Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Full UK driving license

Ability to live and work in the UK

Minimum of two years Account Management / Territory Manager experience in the medical device industry

Experience in the cardiovascular/endovascular space is preferred

Ability to learn and understand complex clinical product knowledge and clinical data

Must be self-motivated to drive ideas and develop business opportunities

Ability to identify business opportunities and the ability to persuade and influence others.

Able to build and maintain strong business and customer relationships

Excellent interpersonal skills

Sound presentation skills to educate and demonstrate products to a variety of clinical audiences
