Job Overview
Citywide Health is the leading independent pharmacy group in the historic city of York. Our seven pharmacies are located in Haxby, Huntington, Poppleton, Clifton Moor, Boroughbridge Road, Bishopthorpe Road and Fulford. We currently dispense 20% of the prescriptions issued within the city and we are the leading provider of flu vaccinations in York, as well as operating 7 Covid vaccination clinics.
We are seeking pharmacists to help expand our Covid and flu vaccination service, and well as drive private services in our pharmacies.
We offer a wide range of healthcare services, and are seeking a driven and passionate pharmacists to join our 60 strong team, including 12 pharmacists. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other experienced pharmacists across our group, as well as other healthcare professionals, so the position would suit someone who is either experienced or newly qualified. We are seeking both experienced and newly qualified pharmacists, as the successful candidate will be passionate about delivering the best quality of care to our patients through the effective running of all aspects of the dispensary, but also constantly striving to add more value to our company and the services we offer.

The ideal candidate must:
- Registered with the GPhC or be provisionally registered
- Have a passion for delivering an excellent patient service
- Have good knowledge of community pharmacy operations and provision of both local and national pharmacy services
- Confident in building on existing relationships with local GP practices, care & nursing homes, and other care providers
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and confident in managing and leading a team, encouraging their development and career progression
- Have a great rapport with patients and be able to make them feel comfortable using the pharmacy services
- Be able to work independently as well as being a strong team player
- Promote and develop advance pharmacy services, helping the team to meet their targets
- Work accurately under pressure
