We are a manufacturer of orthopedic components/materials manufactured to high specifications for the medical industry. Our focus is to supply high quality medical products to exacting customer and international specifications, supported by our technical department, which can test polymeric materials to the highest standards. To support continued business growth, we require enthusiastic individuals to join the Quality Control Inspection team within our DCM department at our Futures Park site.
Key Accountable Areas:
· Conducting visual tests on medical components, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
· Working towards client-specific and high-quality production
· Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
· Ensure that all products are thoroughly quality checked
· Use of Syspro to book materials and stock to and from DCM jobs
· Use of Microsoft office applications to generate product specific inspection paperwork
· Creation of, and signing off on Certificates of Compliance for medical grade implants

Required Qualifications/Knowledge:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· 3 GCSE’s preferrably grade C or above in English, Maths and 1 related subject or equivalent qualifications
· Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) experience preferred
Experience
· Previous experience working in a quality inspection role is preferred
Hours of Employment
· Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00 with breaks, Friday 08.00-13.00 with one break
Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 15.00-23.00 with breaks, Friday 15.00-22.00 with one break
· Duties and hours may vary dependent upon workload
