Overview
A rapidly expanding manufacturer of Washroom toilet cubicles and work-surfaces seeks an experienced nesting CNC Operator based at our factory in Poole. Candidates will ideally have over 2 years experience using beam CNC's or in a similar wood machinist role, preferably from a joinery/furniture background. Candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered.
What you’ll do
- Operate CNC machines in accordance with production specifications and safety protocols.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimise production.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to minimise downtime.
- Ensure the proper handling of materials and tools used in the operation of machines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
Who you are
- Proven experience operating CNC machines and/or beam saws in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
- A driver with own transport.
Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
