Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman/Woman to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems.
- Conduct welding repairs as needed to maintain structural integrity of equipment or infrastructure.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems to support manufacturing or facility operations.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are upheld.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests efficiently and professionally.
- Lead small teams during maintenance tasks when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance work with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for effective diagnostics.
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform repairs safely and accurately.
- Electrical experience including familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: £0.14-£22.60 per hour
