Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient sourcing to final presentation
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Manage the organisation of the kitchen, including inventory control and stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service experiences
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and knowledge
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and high morale
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in culinary operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Experience in food production, menu development, and serving in high-volume environments
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including inventory management and customer service excellence
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
