Your expert coffee-making skills including coffee art and your engaging customer skills are required working as part of a team of 4 in the Cafe Bar of an office-based corporate business near Holborn, central London. You will be employed by an independent Catering Contractor, to make the best barista-style beverages that are free of charge to the employees (so very busy!) in their Cafe Bar/break-out area. Other catering duties will be setting up a self-serve breakfast and salad bar and taking payment for a range of breakfast/lunch hot and cold snacks and drinks.
40 hours per week (mostly 7.30am - 4.00pm or 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday)
Rate of pay £15.00 per hour
Duties, apart from mostly preparing fresh Barista made coffees throughout the day using a manual Gaggia machine, include assisting service of breakfast and lunch items; receiving deliveries, correct storage, general cleaning/tidying.
A Hygiene and Health and Safety and Food Safety certificate would be an advantage and you must have a genuine interest in coffee making, be immaculately presented and have excellent communication skills
