We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at The Armoury. This pub is a well regarded establishment with a strong base of local regulars and match day trade with Stockport County. The ideal candidate will have a passion and commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating delightful beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Assist in managing inventory by tracking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Proven bartending experience with knowledge of various drink recipes and techniques.
- Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
- A background in hospitality is preferred, showcasing an ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
